Customer Reviews
The print is adorable especially since I was trying to shy away from all the hot pinks and browns that baby girl items come in. It is lightweight and being a single mom that's definatley a plus. The only thing is that the lining in the carrier isn't very plush or cushiony, so I'm afraid it's not going to be very comfy for her when she gets here. Looks like im going to have to pad it with an insert or something. Also, has large storage under stroller.
I registered for this through Target.com (where the print is called the Paige print, not Adaline). It is so new that it is not available in stores and there are no reviews anywhere, with the exception now of the one above. Friends purchased this for me and had it sent to my home yesterday. The axle with the brakes was made incorrectly. Basically, the brakes, which should face each wheel, face inward instead and not outward toward each wheel. Therefore, you cannot use brakes on this at all. I called Graco this morning and they determined that at some point during manufacturing, the gray "step" part that you use to engage and disengage the brakes had been put on the wrong sides, i.e. the one on the left should have gone on the right and vice versa.
This would not have been such a hassle if Graco were able to send just a new axle bar. However, because this model is so new, there are no replacements parts available at this point. So, I have to package up the entire travel system and have FedEx pick it up. It will take up to 7 days to get the shipping label, then I have to call and schedule the pickup, then it will taken another 7 days or more to process and receive a refund check. I am due March 16th so I could have my baby at any time now. So, to cut down on time, I ordered the same travel system once again through Target.com today so I don't have to wait all that time.
Now my worry is that the second travel system will come with this flaw. I may be silly for ordering it again, but I love the print and I wanted a Graco system, and I'm hoping this was a one-time flaw, or at least a batch flaw. If it was a batch flaw, I hope my new one was manufactured on a different date! If anyone would like to see a picture of the axle bar I am more than happy to send it.
